The Boko Haram insurgency has had a devastating impact on education in Nigeria, particularly in the northeastern region of the country. This research paper examines the multifaceted consequences of Boko Haram's attacks on schools, displacement of students and teachers, and the creation of a climate of fear and insecurity. It explores the short-term and long-term effects of these disruptions on educational attainment, access to quality education, and the overall development of the region. By analyzing the experiences of students, teachers, and communities affected by the insurgency, this study aims to shed light on the challenges faced by the Nigerian education system and to identify potential strategies for rebuilding and strengthening it in the aftermath of Boko Haram.
