Abstract

The methods and choices that a nation makes in order to navigate its contacts with other nations, international organizations, and global entities are encapsulated in its foreign policy, which is a fundamental component of international relations. Within the context of the ever-changing landscape of international relations, this research investigates the theoretical foundations, formulation processes, and practical implementations of foreign policy. A nation's external interactions are shaped by the interplay of internal and foreign elements, such as political ideologies, economic imperatives, security concerns, and cultural influences. This highlights the importance of the interplay between these factors. Case studies are being investigated as part of this research project in order to provide insight on the development of foreign policy in response to global concerns such as globalization, climate change, terrorism, and power transitions in a multipolar world. One of the goals of this research is to give a thorough knowledge of the role that foreign policy plays in furthering national interests while simultaneously supporting international cooperation. This will be accomplished by merging historical viewpoints and present trends. The findings highlight the relevance of diplomatic methods, soft power, and multilateral frameworks in the process of tackling complex global challenges. They also provide insights for policymakers and researchers who are interested in determining the future of international relations.
